Bill & Maggie are the founders of Shining Meadows Clydesdales. They got married in 1973 and purchased their first Clydes shortly after. The first foals were born in 1978 and their first stallion was purchased the following year. They have had a stallion, a few mares, and a couple of foals each year ever since.
Steve & Meaghan Chismar Dover, OH
Marhin, Norah & Rory
Meaghan was born into the Clydes and has been a part of the family operation ever since. She won her first cart class at the age of 11 driving one of the first horses born on the farm, Shining Meadows Sunshine.
Steve and Meaghan were married in 1998 and have three children. Marhin was born in March of 2003, Norah was born in January of 2005, and Rory was born in January of 2007.
Ryan & Amy Mullen Parkersburg, WV
Olivia, Andrew & Matthew
Ryan was also born into the Clydes and has been a major part of the operation. Ryan and his family currently own their own farm in West Virginia.
Ryan and Amy were married in June of 2000 and have three children. Olivia was born in August of 2002, Andrew was born in December of 2004, and Matthew was born in September of 2007.
Alex Mullen & Rachel Newlin Chagrin Falls, OH
Alex was also born into the Clydes and has been a part of the family operation since. Alex Graduated from Ohio State Vet School and he is working for Cleveland Equine and his girlfriend Rachel is working in Cleveland.
